About Placeholder

I am a printmaking artist dedicated to creating unique fine art prints through a meticulous and creative process. My work involves carving or etching intricate designs onto materials such as linoleum blocks, plexiglass, or copper plates. These materials serve as the matrix, or foundation, for my art. Once the design is carved or etched, I apply printmaking ink to the surface, carefully lay archival paper over it, and then print the image either by hand or using an etching press. Each print is a limited edition, numbered, signed, and meticulously crafted to ensure its uniqueness and quality.

What captivates me about printmaking is the opportunity it provides to explore various techniques and materials. Instead of directly drawing or painting onto a canvas or paper, I delve into the art of carving and etching, experimenting with different solvents and inks. This process allows me to bring my artistic vision to life in a distinct and tactile way. The act of carving, inking, and pressing is not only a creative journey but also a meditative experience. There's a profound sense of wonder and satisfaction in peeling back the paper to reveal the mirrored image, a moment that feels truly magical and rewarding.
